The Loire region is the third largest wine
producing region in France and produces the
most popular wine ordered in French restaurants.
It is second only to Champagne for production of
Sparkling wine.

Maybe the only Loire wines some people could
name would be Rosé Anjou or Muscadet but that
would be their loss. There is so much more here
than those supermarket staples.

Some of the best wines in the world come from
the Loire. The greatest Vineyards are almost
exclusively found on the south-facing slopes. With
Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet
Franc grapes excelling and being the main
ingredient in many of the areas wines.

Our wine tours concentrate on the regions of Vouvray, Chinon, Saumur,
Bourgueil, Montlouis, Touraine, Valencay and St Nicolas de Bourgueil.
